Description of services

Step 1: I put a voice with a name and believe in communication. We will discuss your history in running and cover everything from strengths and weaknesses to successes and future aspirations. This is covered in the initial phone call lasting approximately 30-45 minutes.

Step 2: Once your goal is established I will provide a program for you to follow and will monitor your schedule daily. This is necessary to observe progress and to adjust your training as needed. Your schedule is individual and tapered to your needs.

Step 3: Fees. There is a 3 month minimum sign up period. To really see positive changes I have found this is generally the amount of time needed to adapt to the training. Once the coaching fee is paid a schedule is sent out.

If you want to take your running to the next level, Coach Mike is your ticket to success. Before working with Coach, I set limits for myself - preconceived notions of what I thought I was capable of doing. Coach made me realize that there are no limits. If I had the right mindset, worked hard, and opened myself up to what could be, I could accomplish any goal I set for myself.

Coach Mike sets up great programs specific to his runners. In addition to running, he helps with strength, gives tips for PT exercises, and discusses nutrition and recovery. He is everything you would want in a coach and so much more.

Coach Mike knew exactly when and how to expand my comfort range. He designed a plan to help me break 1:30 in the half marathon. He then set up a smart training plan for me to finish my first 100 miler. In both cases he would check in with me and adapt the plan based on what was happening in my personal life. To me he's more than a coach, he's also a friend I can talk to about anything.
The man knows his stuff. Since starting with Coach Mike all of my training runs are slower and all of my races are faster, and it’s not even close. The man has turned me into a PR machine, accomplishing goals I didn’t think were attainable: sub 17min 5k down from 20min 20sec, sub 3hr marathon down from 3hrs 27min, completing a 100mile race in under 24hrs, becoming a 100k champion. Coach Mike has drastically improved my performance without taking up all of my free time. The training plans are concise and to the point.....follow his directions and YOU WILL SUCCEED!!!
